We flew with Ryanair from Athens in a 55 minutes flight. For the accommodation, using AirBnb is our main site along our Europe trip.
Pension Livadaros was our Villa's name. our host, Maria, was supposed to wait for us at the airport. But after a while waiting, we decided to take a cab to her house. It is located at a small village called Karterados, a few kilometers from Fira, the main town. From the Villa, we walked to the main street and waited for the bus to Fira. At Fira, all connection that you need to go around Santorini are there via the buses.
On that evening, we decided to go to Oia. Supposedly to watch the Sunset. There were quite a number of tourist around. The view here is indeed breathtaking. It was really worth it. We were speechless and excited at the same time! We walked up and down the stairs and taking pictures as many as we can. The blue water and the white painted houses are indeed the main attraction. The whiteness pop out with the blue background especially with the sun above your head!
We decided not to wait for the sunset in the end. We walked from Fira back to the Villa with a great satisfaction.
